Lake Brienz is the most vividly turquoise of the Bernese Oberland lakes, and this private tour follows its quiet southern shore at an unhurried pace. You'll start in Bönigen for your first view of the water, pause for photos at the postcard village of Iseltwald, then reach the highlight: the Giessbach Falls, tumbling fourteen cascades down to the lake beneath the Belle Époque Grandhotel Giessbach. A short, easy loop trail takes you right up to the falls — and at one point, behind a curtain of falling water — while Europe's oldest tourist funicular carries you up from the lakeshore. There's time to stop for coffee on the historic hotel terrace before the return. Throughout, it's just your group, a private vehicle, and a local driver who knows the shore — no fixed crowd, no rush.
